Title: ‘Echoes of Rockingham’
Designer: Sam Dryell
Contractor: Topoforma Landscape
Show: RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse 2025
Silver-Gilt Medal

Designer Sam Dryell appointed Topoforma Landscape to build his entry into the Young Designer of the Year category at RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse in 2025. His garden, Echoes of Rockingham, was themed around the historic ceramics and pottery industry in the local Rockingham and Rotherham area. The design created an outdoor museum space in which local artists displayed ceramic art pieces; these were displayed on yorkstone podiums and viewed from benches hewn from the same stone. Magnificent Hawthorn trees gave the space depth and a relaxed feel, while the planting provided a soft green surround for the artworks.
